Sanctuary - Service at 10:30 a.m.

At First Presbyterian Church Kilgore, we joyfully welcome all who enter our doors to join us in worship on Sunday mornings. Whether you are a lifelong Presbyterian, new to the faith, or simply exploring what church means to you, you are warmly invited to be part of our church family.

We believe that worship is a sacred time to come together in praise, reflection, and community as we seek to grow in our relationship with God and one another. Our prayer is that every person who joins us in worship will experience the presence of the Holy Spirit, find encouragement through Scripture and song, and leave feeling spiritually renewed and deeply loved.

We hope that we create an environment that is both reverent and welcoming, rooted in tradition yet open to the movement of God's grace in new and meaningful ways. As a congregation we are committed to nurturing faith, sharing Christ's love, and extending hospitality to all - because we believe everyone has a place at God's table.

No matter who you are or where you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here. And, we invited visitors from anywhere in the world to join us through our YouTube Channel

We pray that you will find our services uplifting and that you will be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Sacraments

Communion is celebrated every first Sunday of the month, and all who place their faith in Jesus Christ are welcome to partake of the elements. The sacrament of Baptism is received by adult believers who have professed faith in Jesus Christ, and by children presented for baptism by their parent (s).

Special Services

FPC Kilgore hosts a Candlelight service each December, as well as Christmas Eve Communion in the chapel. Special services are also conducted for Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday’s Tenebrae organized by the youth. We also celebrate Youth Sunday and the valuable and necessary contribution our young people have in the life of this church family.
